Western Australia Photograhpy Book

in #photography3 years ago

Hey All,

I know it has been a bit sparse in terms of posts from me, my main reason is that I didn't want to regurgitate old content and with our weird covid laws here in Australia, I've had no real chances to create much in the way of new content. I've not left Western Australia since February last year, it is the longest continuous amount of time I've spent in Western Australia, ever.

Recently though I got back from a massive road trip (11,000kms) within the state of Western Australia, I've been doing a few posts just on that trip soon. I want to share a few photos from the trip which made it in to my new printed book with a collection of my photographs from Western Australia:

Absolutely stunning photos! That one of the storm rolling in over the lighthouse is a favourite.
I loved Australia's West Coast so much that when we eventually move back to Aus I'd love to settle somewhere in WA.

The South West is the place to live in WA... although it can be difficult to find a place at the moment as it has become very popular

Yay, so happy to see a post and photos from @paulmp in my feed! Awesome you have a book too.

Thanks Sara! Sorry for the radio silence :)

Looks like some awesome works!

Great shots, Paul.

Thank you!

I find it odd how strict they are with the restrictions down there. What good sheltering in place and not even be allowed to go places in nature does? I hope you can soon get back to it, your works are amazing! Like that shot up top! Brilliant!

Yeah the restrictions are odd and somewhat politically motivated. I have freedom to roam around Western Australia, but I risk getting locked out of the state if I leave... which is a bit insane to say the least.

It sounds like a plot of TV series The Colony! Where aliens had taken over control of the government and each district was locked away from each other by walls and they could not easily travel between them. All because of couple of cases if I understood correctly that it is all it takes for them to close the borders? That is overkill imo.
