Hello everyone!
Today, I'd like to show you some photos I took last winter in the Karkonosze mountains, located at the border between Poland and Czechia.
This is the single chairlift from the town of Karpacz to the top of the Kopa mountain (on the Polish side). It was built in 1959 and it was the world's longest of its kind at the time. These photos are from one of the last times I ever used it: it was dismantled this winter and a new one is currently under construction.
Passing through the clouds...
Turns out it's sunny up there!
Looking down at the clouds from the top of Kopa
The frost and wind turned these mountain pines into snow flowers!
View of Mount Śnieżka and the Dom Śląski mountain hut (the little outline in the clouds spilling over from the Czech side of the mountain).
And finally, a panorama taken from the trail leading up to the top of Śnieżka. Again, you can just barely make out Dom Śląski down there in the clouds. You can actually see two countries in one photo, as the mountains in the distance on the right side are in Czechia and the ones in the middle and on the left are in Poland.
Have a nice day!
amazing view.I hope i can visit it someday:)
