I went to a Machine Girl show and basically it was a 65,000 year long rave in 30 minutes

and I overdosed a thousand times a second until I collapsed into a tesseract and got my ass eaten out in the 4th dimension.

Title and etc stolen from their t-shirt. It was not too far off.

Tongue fucking/playing the Kaossilator.

He wasn't shy to get off stage and on to a stool or the floor or whatever else his mic cord would reach.

Pure energy

There was a mysterious hooded dude with a custom box controlling the projection live.

Back to the floor

All shot on a 50mm lens at f/1.4. Getting good focus with this lens wide open is a bitch with low light. I've switched to back-button focus and started using only the center focus point in low light, but I still missed what would have been good shots. These guys put on an awesome show and they exude a ton of energy, so I got plenty of good ones. Go and see them or book them in your city.

Whut.

Looks like a strange show!

Performers making the whole club their stage is always a fun time. That's when the beer cans start getting thrown. This crowd was more electro and it wasn't the right venue for beer throwing though.

Ooft, looks insane!!!

Well you know I didn't share many of the shots where their faces are more normal. BORING

Seems insane mate! We miss your post on Golos ;-)

I'm always up for a translation, you know me :)

Cool, concert photography is challenging with the low light available and fast shutter speed required. Looks like you did pretty good though!

Thanks. Up til now I hadn't even shot anyone with as much energy and motion as this guy too. I took about 100 shots of him running through the crowd but none were in focus.

Lol, yeah I have tons of out-of-focus concert photography shots still in my photo library, always too lazy to clean it out :P

The price of storage seems to get cheaper faster than the desire to clean builds up. I just got a 512GB SSD for $75.

Haha true, I should probably back up my photos onto another HD, right now they're all sitting in one... $75 bucks, you got a great deal!

Tongue playing, yeh!

That last pic of the guy on the floor looks like a five year old that had too much candy:)
