When I first came to America, my first State of destination was Mississippi. It was far more different than what I had expected from big States such as California, New York, Chicago and others. From Mississippi to Tennessee, I see a lot of country type of living.
Some people would love to live in a big acres of land. Grow their own crops, live off grid, enjoy the privacy, quietness and close to nature. Away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Away from congested places, no sight of green trees to see just buildings and skyscrapers.
I took a few pictures when the weather was gloomy the other day. It was not the best but I just love the sight.
In the end what matter is:"How you live means a whole lot more than where you live."

So long and Steem on!
I grew up in South Mississippi and South Alabama. Many fields of cotton and corn in this area. It can be a beautiful place.
DAM HICK!! You know how to work a computer? @basicstoliving LOL Jking good to see you here brother.
I wondered the same about you @solarparadise. LOL
@basicstoliving I love the simple life when I was in MS and until now in TN. It reminds me of my hometown although people are different bit the way of living is nice.
The way of living is what makes south a good place to be. Sorry to say that the jobs suck, at least in LA (Lower Alabama), as lots of my family and friends moved because of no work or wanted skilled people for low wages.
Try to get to the smokey mountains, GREAT !
@gpa1950 I love the mountains of TN.
We are so blessed with what we have. I could not make it in a big city. I hate to go into town. Waking up to the sounds of the birds is my kind of life. My wife says I am more layed back here. Funny how things work. Thanks for the post. God Bless sis..
Yeah me too although I'd spent some years in a busy city like Manila but I chose a laidback life.
I love it in the middle of nowhere and that is where we are. The only noise out here is the tractors moving hay or cutting and baling hay or working the fields. At night you can hear just about all the animals as the sound carries because of the quiet. Yes, it is 40 miles to a real store but I would not trade it for the world.
