I went to the garden earlier to check on the vegetables we planted and to see if it's doing well. It seems fine so I simply water them to keep the soil moist. I'm also relieved that there are no insects that are infesting the plants and that's a good thing because it's bothersome to clean the plants, get rid of the insects, and do protection to prevent the insects from getting into plants.
Since there are no issues at the garden for me to tend to and I still have plenty of time for me to walk around, I took photos of the blooming wild flowers that are growing around the perimeter of the garden.
The Sphagneticola trilobata are looking good. These wild plants have a brightly colored flowers that look like tiny sunflowers. I think they bloom the entire year and they very robust in any kind of weather. It's best to cultivate the soil regularly so that they grow faster and they will have even coverage of the ground.
For my journal, I took several photos of the blooming flowers to keep a record of them and compare how they look during this season.
I hope that you will like the photos showcasing a piece of nature from my garden.
