Yes I had to wait around a fair while, though this was taken in a national park, so the deer whilst wild are fairly used to people.
Lots more photos from this trip and several others to share.
I live in the south of the UK, and there are quite a few areas around where wild deer are fairly common. .. there are downs within walking distance of me, which have a few running around fairly regularly.. slightly more shy of humans.. and I have only seen them in pairs.
