Polish Landscapes - Roadside Chapel / Shrine

Hi Folks!

Small gallery from yesterday's exploration of rural areas aroun Olsztyn / Poland.

On my short hike among the agricultural fields by the gravel road I found this old but very well preserved shrine, or a chapel - not sure which word will be better for such monument.

I decided to keep it in a form of photographs as there are many of them in the area which are already in a bad shape, abanodend and forgotten.

This one was in a very good shape - all the figures of Saints were well preserved, the area was clean, new fencing, new stairs, 4 old Maple trees around.

Because I was shooting agains the bright sun light I decided to go into black and white version which avoid the strange colors and shadows look and gives a nice mood to the place.
