Yesterday was a spectacular wee hunt.. I found myself in an overwhelming new community of shrooms... not a normal hunt day, as there was no hunt involved!! Stepping off the path and into a wonderland... here are just a few of my finds... not sure what they all are, so any identity ideas welcome.. praise be mushrooms π

I know the Fly Agaric.... and maybe a baby puffball... but I'm unsure what any of the others are!! I need to get a good identification book ππ anyone know what the others may be?
That last one of the fly agaric is a gorgeous photo. I'm back in the UK on the 25th of September, I guess the season will be closing up at that stage. Must say that I am underwhelmed by the wild mushroom offerings of the Atlantic Forest in Rio de Janeiro state.
That's interesting to hear I often wondered about other places such as the Atlantic forest in Rio de Janeiro as I would love to travel other parts of the world photograph in fungus and mushrooms. Hopefully the warm air stays so when you return in September there will be some little treasures still waiting for you. peace and praise be mushrooms π
One of my best friends here actually spent many years photographing the fungi of the Atlantic forest and is one of the main points of reference for it.... and he's very passionate abotu them. There'smuch less culture for eating mushrooms than in Europe. To me it seems they are often quite unappetising sort of Jews Ear type varieties and I haven't seen any real beefy tasty looking one. My friend thinks I'm just snobby. :)
I wish I was knowledgeable enough to gather the edible ones and eat them this would be wonderful one day to harvest create and photograph my own mushrooms
I'm sure you can identify some of the more classic edibles. I also am very charry about experimenting with fungi! Mmmmm, but when you find a crop of chanterelles or ceps, it's so amazing! Not too hard to look up and double-check the IDs on some of the more well known types.
I really enjoyed your post, thank you for sharing with us. Enjoy the vote!
Thank you very much
Praise be mushrooms!

Nice photo's
Thank you π
I love to look at mushrooms in the forest. As far as Identification, I am only really interested in the wild edibles. I study those so that I can forage and cook them. But they are all beautiful.
