False Truths
Yesterday, the United Conservative Party elected a new leader in Pierre Poilievre. I see this as a very positive step in the direction of returning Canada to one of the strongest democratic countries in the world.
Predictably, his election has resulted in his political rivals (mainly in Liberal Party supporters) stepping up their propaganda campaign against him. They are using the stand-by accusation of white-supremacy and racism.

His speech was balanced, rational, and contained many social democratic elements. His family is beautiful and diverse; he clearly loves them. He was raised by two school teachers. Anyone continuing on with suggestions of racism is either terribly misled or lacking in conscience, knowingly misleading people.
When he stood up for the convoy and what it TRULY stood for, he stood up for people like ME who were SLANDERED by the most powerful office in the land as 'racist, misogynists, n anti-science', people who were systematically being shut out of society for non compliance to medical coercion.
The people being 'othered' had a variety of political views. It served the propaganda machine (CBC) to focus on those who had the most questionable. There are upwards of 6 millions of us. In such a large group, always there will be some whose heart is lost to hate.
Those who were operating from hate among the convoy ... were indeed on the fringe, but these were the voices Establishment Media chose to amplify to the almost complete exclusion of far more prevalent and stronger voices of love and inclusion.
No one continuing on with unfounded slander toward the Poilievre family or the millions of Canadian connected in one way or another to the convoy is behaving according to leftist ideals. They are in service to maintaining the Liberal Party's seat of power, whether they know it or not.
It is a disservice to the cause of humanity n democracy to amplify divisive politics. Time to take words like the LEFT or RIGHT from our messaging. And start calling those who choose to make false claims of racism what they are ... anti-democratic, anti-humanist forces.
I remember a time when those with competing political views could discuss their differences rationally and with respect for each other and arrive at better solutions. Let this be the ethos that guides us forward. Kinship to each other, mutual-respect and a willingness to attempt consensus.

There are lies that are honest, and perhaps even contain accidental truth; then there are lies designed to fool and practice malfeasance, profit-serving and dangerous lies; and yet they are told by those that claim to have a monopoly on the truth.Let's call your mistake what 'should be'. Perhaps it will auger the future some.
The peer-reviewed study out of Brazil (Cureus) and countless others, also in vitro studies, show clear and consistent positive effect and on a population level that exceeds what we have obtained through FDA approved methods. Ivy is not a guaranteed cure when taken in ANY dose and at any time in anyone, but an effective treatment when given early, in appropriate doses, and for an appropriate duration of time. One's general health of course is also relevant.
It would not take a Nobel Prize winner however to create a study that showed deleterious effect ... give it too late and to extremely ill people, feed them too much sugar or give in combination with certain drugs (statins for example) for too short of a time, and either with insufficient or ridiculously high doses. Get it to your pharma cronies to peer review. We could make water look bad this way.
