Peeping Tigers and Edible Suns
The sun is out in Vancouver and summer flowers are loving it. My neighbour's fuchsia tiger lilies couldn't look more lovely.

Speaking of peeking. The trees are at the height of their foliage cover and so much of the ocean view I generally enjoy is blocked out by their limbs and leaves. To me it looks like a work of temporary art.

Sunflowers are playing big time in the blockchain these days. Just yesterday, @generikat and I were discussing that these flower gems are edible from root to steem. These beauts were shot from above.

Well, that was my Wednesday walk. Make sure you get out there and enjoy the summer warmth while it lasts. Blessings, walkers, photo-makers and haiku scribers:)

You had a most fabulous walk today, especially showing off those Exquisite Lily and my favorite sunflowers. Not me I'm done of course by Ms haiku.
Why did I think I could lose her only one set of syllables, when this one looks like it is a different set? Or am I dreaming?
Thank you for the most wonderful Wednesday walk and I bet you a fine good night
Thank you, Denise:) The 5/7/5 syllable count is a convention and not a defining aspect of haiku. A few blokes got hold of the idea and ran with it and began insisting it defined haiku. Some aficionados would say 5/7/5 is too long ... I hold to haiku being a poem about nature expressed in one breath and generally with a pivot idea/word/phrase.
Thnaks for joining Wednesday Walk again this week and another beautiful walk you shared with us
tip!
Thank you, Jay:):):) Much appreciated:0
@prydefoltz Most welcome
“Edible suns”! Love it. I really like the photo as well, with the petals turned in to the center.
Thank you, Dabeckster:)
What a beautiful walk! Beautiful pics! :)
Thank you, Maruharraca:)
I love those dark pink lilies! Gorgeous!
Thank you, Erikah:)
My pleasure 😉
Love your title and your glorious photos @prydefoltz and of course I had to find out what kind of suns you deemed edible. The sunflower is a flower that keeps on giving isn't she?
One of nature's greatest creations, for sure:) Thank you, Trudee:)
My pleasure!
