Savage Revolution
lies in Tornado Alley
the vortex
now turns
silently
So heavy
with anxiety
it's invisible
the pin drop
periodically interrupted
with pre-approved blasts
self-serving mendacity
chaotic calumny
the cries of the masses
swallowed by the gusts
cracked and decayed
by speeding
barrier breaking
look, mom
brags the alpha
no gravity
laws
spacetime
for the weighted-down
the multitudes
the starving
those bound up
by string spinning
but beware
space baron
splinter threads are sharp enough
to snag the slickest
hubris and yarn
the wheeling in
the round up
irreversible
it's a savage revolution
Now for something a little more positive.
Spider
upon silken strands
not one can master
can fail to get lost
become entangled
surrender the struggle
infinite intricacy
is not to be figured
is not to be controlled
cannot be eluded
escaped from
tread out onto the abyss
here lies endless fabric
it lies not in the illusion
of strings spun before
dried bones
desiccated shells
come undone
at its edges
this web is always fraying
tiptoeing upon gossamer ends
waving, weaving into nothing
stop grasping, let go
with your next foothold
creation is assured
