Doorway Through Time
Ancient Oceans deposited this layered sedimentation of red sand, hundreds of millions of years ago. Once solidified the formation of the Rocky Mountains lifted up this area called the Colorado Plateau. That was around 50 million years ago! Since then the erosive forces of nature have been at work. Creating the art of the Southwest!

This stone is a true witness of this stunningly calm and colorful summer sunset at Baltic Sea coast, Lithuania. Not really often, but such lake calm sea still happens.
Perfect foreground - this stone with a lot of green algae nicely contrasting to warm colors of setting sun
