Pittsburgh is a city in Western Pennsylvania. And like any city, there isn't a whole lot in the way of wildlife and nature. However, 20 miles northeast of the city my boyfriend and I discovered Jackson Falls this summer.
Getting to this little waterfall in the middle of the wilderness involved a couple hours of treacherous hiking over slippery rocks. For awhile we weren't sure if we were going in the right direction or if we'd ever find this hidden waterfall. In the end, it was so worth it to get to cool off in the refreshing water and take in the picturesque scene.
Here is another picture from our hike on the way to the Falls. Everything was so green!!
Beautiful waterfall, was it warm enough to take a dip, it looks it, Jeff
Yes, it was actually a really hot day in the summer! The water was really chilly though
Beautiful! Waterfalls are always a plan 😊
