What is wrong with people and weeds, that they can’t get out into the garden quick enough to zap them. I wonder if these same people knew of the benefits some offer, would they feel differently towards them. In an earlier post, I spoke about the dandelion, and today, the daisy, which depending on which species and where it grows can be classed as a flower. Both are commonly seen as garden weeds where I am from, and both great sources for fixing things, health wise.
This plants extract contains a natural substance called L-arbutin that helps to brighten body skin.
Too much exposure to the sun’s harmful UV rays can cause overproduction of melanin, as well as cause other serious problems, but the usual outcome here is hyper pigmentation or discoloration, which over time becomes more clear in age as ugly dark spots. The benefit of the extract with its content (L-arbutin) can block the formation of melanin, hence significantly lessening dark spots production. And another thing, its organic acids, especially tartaric and malic acid, also contributes in exfoliating body skin.
Now do you still want to take the heads of daisies with the lawnmower?
Although the benefits offered from various weeds and flowers are tempting enough to want to make tea or beauty products out of their roots or leaves or whatever, never do this unless you speak to a doctor or herb specialist first.
