There are still there, usually in groups of 5 or 6 and fly in formation catching the updraft from the waves. It is quite impressive watching their skills both with flying and hunting for fish. Amazing how the fly up, find a target, dive right down into the water pulling their wings in as they hit and then come out with their bill filled with a fish. Wow.
I can visualized that whole thing! They get fresh sushi each day!
