Here's a secret about Tokyo. If you go to the Skytree early in the morning say around 9am, you can see Mt. Fuji clearly in the months of December and January. If it is a windy morning then you can probably see it other times of year too, but it's guaranteed at the end of the year and very beginning. The view from up there is amazing. Tokyo looks like a model.
