Today we went again to La Lluna, the small vegetarian restaurant that we discovered thanks to @for91days.
The restaurant is quite small and if you're not careful you might miss the modest entrance.
Here's how it looks like:
The first time we were there it was the weekend so they didn't have their usual lunch menu available.
But today, they did. And boy, it was so good!
We had a Hindu salad, which was a mix of green leaves with some fruit, walnuts and raisins, a potato stew that reminded me of the one my grandmother used to make (and my grandmother was an amazing cook), @dragosroua had a carrot and cheese dish that he liked very much, and for me they brought baked eggplant with a salad because I asked for the vegan option. Bread, both regular and gluten free is included in the price. And on top of all this we also had deserts, a chocolate tart for Dragos and a carrot cake for me. I could barely finish, I asked Dragos to help me with mine, and he didn't mind at all :)
The portions were normal sized, not the usual tiny daily menu ones that some restaurants offer.
And it cost only 8,5 EUR/person.
We were pretty hungry so I forgot to take pics of the first courses, I took just one of my gluten free, vegan carrot cake.
The first time we were there, me and Dragos, we looked at each other and said: "this smells like home made food, like our grandmothers used to make for us, so I bet the food is good." The lunch menu today confirmed our first impression.
Another aspect that it's quite amazing about La Lluna is that they've been in business since 1980 and they still preserve the home-like atmosphere and food.
We will definitely visit La Lluna again in the near future.
Namaste
