In my home country, we celebrate our national day on December 1st, so Happy Birthday Romania! I've never been a fan of the military parades and the political speeches that flood the public space on this occasion. So this year, being faraway from all this, me and @dragosroua we simply enjoyed a super chill, sunny day.
I felt sooooo grateful to be able to spend some time today laying on the grass barefoot and soaking in the sun instead of being at -8 degrees Celsius as my fellow Romanians do these days.
Every winter I spent in Bucharest in the last couple of years I felt like I was not in the right place. I was promising myself, year after year, that "next winter I will be somewhere warm". I'm super sensitive to cold weather and for me sub zero temperatures are quite challenging.
So you can imagine how appreciative and grateful I am for the current weather in Valencia, with comfortable 17-20 degrees Celsius during the day and plenty of sun.
Happy feet in the air :)
We caught the last rays of sun before the dawn and it was fun to see people across the park choosing to sit in the sunniest spots just like we did.
Some people having a picnic
You can see plenty of people next to the wall sunbathing, reading, relaxing about 2h before dawn.
One hour later, only those still in the sunlight were still sitting next to the wall.
All in all, I think this was the best 1st of December I have ever had so far. How doest it get even better than this? And what else is possible?
Namaste
