I started photography as a hobby about 15 years ago. Over the years I have spent my time experimenting with various cameras and other factors, in order to get a better understanding of photography as an Art. I am still on the learning process and enjoy the thought process and the deliberation that is required in order to compose the image and visualize what the image would turn out like. For me photography is like meditation. I try to use equipment as basic as possible and i use available light alone for the exposures. I love shooting landscapes and portraits as art work that may not fit into any specific theme. One thing I have realized is that your choice of camera will influence your photos but ultimately, if you have the flair for photography and can visualize a composition you can create great images with whatever camera you are using. At the moment I am taking shots with the Lumix GH4 and my cell phone S7 edge.
Welcome to steemit! I have seen your photos and am glad you have finally taken the plunge. You may have to read a bit about linking images but you should get that soon and will become easier with practice. Was looking forward to seeing some of your shots on this post but maybe next time!
