Turkey vulture

This is a turkey vulture I took some photos of a couple months back:

He is pretty good size. It is not very afraid of me. I do throw a lot of leftovers in the woods behinds my house. He let me get pretty close before he flew away. He should fear me, if he keeps killing my chickens. I have at least three that frequent my yard, this one is largest.

Yes they do. And they like biting the head off of chickens!
