For the last 5 days, @knarly327 and I have been on vacation on Harbour Island, Bahamas.
Funded by crypto, we traded our parkas and winter boots for our bathing suits and sunglasses.
I took this shot of a banana leaf and flower, while out for a morning walk.
I took this photo with my apple 8+ cell phone and am working from it (which has been an interesting learning execise on this small island).

Thank you @sheikh27. I took the banana leaf shot at about 8 am. This was exactly how the sun was lighting it. The shot of me was at about 5:30 pm, so as the sun was getting ready to start setting. Lighting is what has made these shots look the way they do. I do exercise but in both cases, the sun is what deserves most of the credit. Lol! I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

It must feel good with the sun and I’m here with a winter jacket , gloves and hates on. Had snow here last night again. Though I’ll be going to my home country soon with my baby :D

Looks like an exotic place to enjoy the vacations you made a great decision to visit this place the god's own land looking at the beautiful nature around gives positive vibes only and a refreshing feeling to start off with.
i had never been there so keen to know more about it so searched for Harbour Island, Bahamas and the beaches and the view are really gorgeous to look at wow you definitely are enjoying every bit of it.
Great use of the cryptos there Genius i would say !!! & apple 8+ Smartphone seems to be doing a great job for you.

Thank you for your great comment @mkmohit! It is stunning here and you just walk everywhere or take a golf cart. Island time is not stressful at all. We’ve enjoyed a good rest and have been outside as much as we can be.

I wish you a good time on the Islands. You showed me a picture that's very interesting to me. Because I've never seen how bananas bloom. The guys here on the platform said that these flowers are edible and shared recipes for such dishes. But flowering trees I was able to see thanks to You. Thanks @rebeccaryan

It’s such a different lifestyle here. Nothing to be stressed about. The food is fresh and we are getting lots of vitamin D... I have to say that it agrees with my body’s constitution. ;)
Your concept is excellent.....I like it. In our busy city life I don’t see banana trees.....the colors of the leaves of the banana tree have different beauty.... your photography is excellent....happy travelling ....

Thank you @mother2chicks! You would love it here! The whole island is full of wild roosters and hens with their little chicks. I’ve taken some great photos of them doing all their chicken things. Lol! I have to tell you that it’s so strange to see them absolutely everywhere. ;D

I think I’ve got it figured out now...it was my first time posting from my cell phone which is an apple product. I normally use an android laptop so this post basically is completely different than how I have been posting for the last 18 months. Thanks for being patient with me while I learn. ;)

Thanks @nxtblg! We cracked and needed a break from winter. I’ve always been an android girl and have only used a laptop to post for the last 18 months. This is a totally different procedure for posting because I’m making the switch to apple and posting from a phone. Thanks for your patience and understanding while I teach myself what to do...still learning and trying not to lose my mind in the process. Are you using apple?
No, I've got an Android phone. I haven't used it for posting yet, but I might. So I'm afraid I have no tips to share.
