This is a huge topic @winstonalden...I wish I could offer some peace of mind to you, but saddly I cannot. I recently upgraded by phone and in the process went from Android to Apple because of the camera (mainly). I know that in many circles I'd be called a cell-out (sorry, couldn't help but use the pun) just for that. LOL!
At any rate, I chose a phone that doesn't "offer" facial recognition as the latest and greatest gizmo.
I don't need to be tracked anymore than I currently am (or any of us are for that matter) and I certainly don't need to pay more to make it more efficient to be tracked.
