Hello guys, I got one post for you, about my 5 days in London with my amazing girlfriend and her younger brother who got this trip as a present for Christmas from us.

London is great, worldknown town, but I won`t say beautiful. Weather, as we know, is not very approriate through the whole year, for me, city and its antiquities are not very attractive, very big, colossal buildings to show others where they belong (not insulting anyone or amazing history of London, just my feelings).

People there, are very gentle, for me, person from heart of europe, they are very kind and they will not let you look silly or weird, everyone is helpful and gives you any advice or asks you if u need help when they see you are in some discomfort.

That was biggest pleasure and the nicest exprience for me. Right after visiting Emirates stadium at night. So my biggest connection to London is because of my favourite football club Arsenal and also for whole premier league and english football itselfs.

So from my point of you with all respect to this amazing and old city, I have some summary for you guys:

Pros

  • English football
  • Arsenal London FC
  • Many opportunites what to visit (according to your preferences)
  • Nice people
  • Multicultural city
  • Nice parks - a lot of green everywhere
  • You can taste part from the history or movies/books (baker street, harry potter museum, doctor who shop, trafalgar square, imperial was musem and more...)
  • English - so you can easily talk to anyone

Cons

  • weather
  • food - not my taste (in slovakia we good much better kitchen) and also expensive
  • all english people walking/riding from the left side instead of right (from a longterm you can adapt, as a tourist it makes u a bit weird, but they are respectful so it is good for visitors)
  • distances (from out of centre you need to travel a lot of time - but it is like in any other bigger city)
  • if i should go back to London whenever in the future, it would be probably just cause of football :-)

What is your connection and your feelings for living or visiting such a well-known city, London?

I hope you like my post, if you want to know more about me, just check my intro.

Really nice photos @rhoty! I'm not really into football but definitely a Harry Potter fan. Hope to visit London myself one day.
