Hello friends Steemit, here I bring you a very interesting animal known as cicada, in my country Venezuela we call it a "Chicharra". This little friend of the insect family measures approximately 2 to 7 cm.
The cicadas or young cicadas feed on the sage of the trees and live underground where they remain for 2 to 7 years while they complete their development.
When they leave the land they reproduce, the females when laying the eggs die and it is said that the males die of so much singing.
