@road2horizon Sure, that's really a good suggestion. I will update it in post with map link ASAP.

Well, I live 2000km far from the place but in the same country ie India. Gurudongmar Lake is still in my 2nd time visit wish list. There are 7 such states in the same region, I covered only one ie Sikkim. So when I will visit other 6 next time, I will make sure that this remains in my itinerary.

we are now traveling in europe (we are italian), but most likely the next long trip will be Asia and / or India. is it really as hot in india as friends tell me? what is the best time to go there? Hello, have a good day

hello @road2horizon, I am sorry I couldn't reply last week as I didn't know much about SPs and lost all, still learning though. Well, India is mix of all type weather in every season.Say for example if you visit the himalayas(north) you will never face hot temperature. If you visit East India (Himalayan Range), then do remember to keep umbrella with you. If you are in south India, then it's too hot and sweaty mostly every month. And for rest of India(~50%), summer season is March to July it's too hot, other than those 4 months, things are not boiling here. I hope you can pick your best time now. Thanks
