Thanks man! Now when you say it, they kinda do look like ripples in the sea, but with sharper corners and lines. The lights are some strange type of sparklers my little sister had left from NYE.

I was thinking fireworks, lol. Nice shot!
What a coincidence, today I'm going to get my first chance ever to shoot fireworks since I got into photography. Don't have my hopes too high though, because the place I need to be at isn't ideal and most likely won't result in perfect images + I never done it before so I'll probably screw something up.
But if nothing else I'm getting some practice and I need as much as I can get :)
Wow that's awesome! You're gonna have fun, and they aren't screw ups, it's abstract art (that's how I justify my "screw ups") lol. Best of luck!
