Summer in The Rainforest

We are enjoying the most colourful time of the year here in Costa Rica as the rainforest is illuminated with the beautiful bright yellow flowers of the Cortez Trees and the pinks of the Roble de Sabana.

The trees are also always full of life. This beautiful Grackle is often to be seen along the edges of the river hunting for fish.

The roadside Hawk seems to hunt throughout the day. Maybe with babies to feed.

All photos of my jungle blog are taken by myself. These were taken using my Canon PowerShot SX60 HS

Amazing photos! I always thought of rain forests as green, wet, and green, but this certainly opened my eyes to the variety of the trees themselves!

They are very green and very wet but amongst the green is a great diversity of flowering in those tree tops and incredible scent of perfumes from them that are just extraordinary!

Such wonderful nature and photos!
I bet you never want to go sightseeing anywhere else!!
If I were you, I would chunn all big cities as you have the real paradise in front of you!

Those yellow and pink flowers are a heavenly sight!
The hawk has very special colour for her feathers, her face is quite a character!
