the same for my 2 dogs , sometimes i just wonder if they understand what they are watching in TV ..and some other times i just go further with my craziness and change to animal channel for them hhh .

They surely do, but on a completely nother level than us. Louis for example loves to watch tennis, yet surely he doesn't see it as we do, probably just watches the ball go up and down :)
