I initially travelled to Greece to help my mother out while she was involved in the setup of distribution points on a refugee camp. I booked for 2 weeks from June 28th 2016…fast forward over a year later to August 2017 and I was just leaving Greece after the “2 weeks” of helping. I took this shot near the start of 2017, it holds a lot of meaning to me regarding my leaving of the camp. It was not easy to do and even though I followed the right process, I was replaced etc…I feel like I let the residents down somehow. Most have moved on from the camp now too, but still that feeling sits heavy in my stomach, as it does when I think about how much I focus on myself right now than others.
That’s hopefully due to change soon, stay tuned!

That is a wonderful sunset. You shouldn't feel like you let any one down - that is unnecessary personal criticism. You have a heart of gold and you give a big piece of that heart away every day.
You are allowed to think about yourself too - particularly because keeping yourself well looked after means you are in the best possible space to help others - which is what you are all about. So to look after others you must first look after your own needs. This is perfectly correct in the ways of spirituality and personal empowerment - you are doing all the right things believe me!
:) thank you!
Those colors literally look awesome :)
