A Rickshaw initially signified a two or three-wheeled passenger cartan, now known as a pulled rickshaw, or, in other words by one man conveying one traveler.

The principal known utilization of the term was in 1879. After some time, cycle rickshaws (otherwise called pedicabs or trishaws), auto rickshaws, and electric rickshaws were imagined, and have supplanted the first pulled rickshaws, with a couple of exemptions for their utilization in tourism.

Pulled rickshaws made a mainstream type of transportation, and a wellspring of work for male workers, inside Asian urban areas in the nineteenth century. Their appearance was identified with recently procured learning of metal roller frameworks. Their fame declined as autos, trains and different types of transportation turned out to be broadly accessible.

In the Late nineteenth century, hand-pulled Rickshaws turned into an economical, mainstream method of transportation crosswise over Asia. Laborers who moved to vast Asian urban areas frequently worked first as a rickshaw sprinter. Auto rickshaws are ending up more mainstream in a few urban communities in the 21st century as an option in contrast to taxis due to their minimal effort.

I was lucky to be in India. True, it was a long time ago. I saw rickshaws on the streets of cities. It was very interesting to me. I used to use only taxi. It was for me a completely new type of transport.
