Truckee, California has been looking beautiful lately! I've been lucky to be able to take my Golden Retriever pup out on a couple of walks yesterday and today. The wildflowers are blooming, the weather has been great, and Quill is becoming a pleasure to walk and hike with as he gets older.
These first couple shots were taken at Boca Reservoir. The purple flowers are Lupine. The lake level is really low due to construction on the dam, Lupine grow great around lakeshores in the Tahoe area when the water is low.
Below - I have actually never been to this little pond in Truckee before today. I've hiked in the area it is in, there are a few other nearby ponds, but Quill and I went a bit further than our usual hikes. I'm glad we did!
I hope you all are having a great day out there. Cheers!
