I decided to finally get myself to go to Lotte World Tower, which is located at Jamsil Station, south of the Han River. It takes a little over an hour from where I live. Lotte World Tower is the 5th tallest tower in the world. It has 123 floors and stands at 1,821 ft (555 meters). The total cost of this megaproject: 3.4 billion USD:

I first took a stop at one of my favorite restaurants in Anguk, Seoul, Bann Thai. You can check out their reviews here:

My lunch from today, Saturday, June 11, 2017
After I had lunch, I made my way down to Myeongdong station and I needed to head over to Namdaemun to have my lens cleaned for my camera. On my way there, I came across some woman singing out in public.
Here I am standing right outside of Jamsil Station, where I scan the area to show everyone what's around.
Here is my ticket to go up to the observatory at Lotte World Tower. It costs 27,000 won for adults.
This is one of the areas before reaching the elevators:
Here I am in the elevator as we are going up to the observation deck:
Here are the many photos that I took while up there. I was not taking my time on most of these shots.
The tower in the distance that you see is Namsan Tower.

Awesome series.

Interesting read, thanks for sharing Steve! Since you're living in Seoul and we'll be over there in April for 4 nights, what other places and restaurants do you recommend to visit? Your feedback is much appreciated. Greetings from Germany, Claudia
