Looking at the pictures it looks like the animals are confused and depressed.
They are used to a warm climate, where their roots are.
And if your roots are now in the extreme cold, it can be very difficult for those animals to carry on.
For us people it could be cool to see these animals in real life, but if you try to understand what they have to go through, you get indeed mixed feelings.
