Giraffes Extinction @senseicat

in #photography7 years ago

Known affectionately as the world's tallest animal, giraffes have been experiencing a significant decline with 40% less population in the past 30 years.

I took this photo at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park during a vacation with my son.

Many thanks!

They are so beautiful to see up close it would be a shame for them to die off

Ever since my son was young, we would go to our local zoo to participate in the scheduled feedings and it is a fond memory for both of us. They move beautifully and there is nothing more precious than seeing a mom with her baby.

awesome photography 😁

Thank you! It is my goal one day to invest in a camera that can take action shots, but my cell worked fine for these relaxed beauties.
