Smaggag says it will not change its branding even if bought on Flickr. That is, it will run on the name of Flickr.

SmackMag's Chief Executive Don McAcquil said in a statement that the entire photography community will be strengthened if the smoggag and flicker together. They can communicate more with each other. Photography can be stored as a global language for storytelling.

The Flickr authority acknowledged the matter in an e-mail, saying they are thrilled to announce that the visual statue of the famous storyteller is buying Flickr. Those who have Flickr accounts, there will be no immediate changes. With the current ID password you can access it. But users will be working to give more advanced experience. Now all the information on Flickr will go to the magazines.

Those who want to remove the Flickr account, they will get time till May 25.

Verizon bought Yahoo's original business for $ 448 million last year. There was also Flickr among Yahoo's other assets among the deal.
