For all the steemian ski lovers!! Day 2 Whistler (Canada)

I'm a big ski lover, so ofcourse we had to go to Whistler (about 1,5 hour drive from Vancouver) to visit this nice ski area. When we arrived, it looked already very beautiful and it was quit hot that day (pfff why was I wearing longsleeve and jeans..). We walked through the village and saw some hotels, shops and nice restaurants with terraces. We also visit the olympic rings and ofcourse we had to take some pictures laying in those rings.

We had a nice lunch and then the girl @ the restaurant told us that we had to go all the way up with the gondola to the mountains to see the amazing view. So we did, it was so nice and also weird, because we were sitting in the chairlift without our ski gear on :p.

What happened next..... we saw 2 wild BEARS!!! Right beneath the gondola and the mountain bike trail. OMG they were so cute and fluffy :), at least I thought, but my mom was screaming so loud OMG a BEAR!!!! (sorry for the fuzzy picture, but more good pictures of bears will come)

Then on our way back to the hotel, we had a lovely dinner in Granville street and decided to go to bed early to get some sleep, because we were a bit tired from the flight. We talked about going to Whistler some day to go skiing, so if anyone already did that, please let me know. I would love to know if it's worth it to go and ski up there.

See ya!

xoxo
