For my next photographic experiment, I decided to take a simple orange tree and focus on its leaves. This particular tree has very green leaves which I am hoping comes through in the pictures. I decided to take photos in the late afternoon and early evening in order to hopefully catch some of the shadows that danced around the tree. Here is my test subject:
I used the aperture settings on my Sony camera in order to bring out the detail in my photos. Personally, I like the simple pictures of only a few leaves much better than some of the others that I have taken.
It’s interesting how simple leaves can look so interesting when you just focus on a few of them at a time. By removing the distractions from the background, the leaves looked much more interesting to me.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my journey as I learn more about photography.
Beautiful photos, thanks for sharing!
