I found this piece of driftwood on
the beach here in Alaska recently
It has a small naturally
implanted stone for a eye
She has some Madrone twigs
for nesting material sitting on a old
mossy lichen encrusted bird house

Rocks and wood a few of my fav things
amazing when they come together in
nature, along with the lichens this year!
All the rains sure made them thick, tho
the amounts of driftwood is lacking
compared to 10 or so years ago, some
are really cool, found a few that were
nawed by a beaver on both ends.
That is an awesome find!
It was, sure is amazing what can be
found on the beaches when we go :-)
Toss-up between the first and the second picture as being my fav, they all look good, but the top two seem to have a more punch I think.
1st and 2nd are my favs also
tho I do like the little round one
at the bottom, but that is also
from the first one :-)

I must of had Madron wood on my
mind! I ment Manzanita wood!!
