In this modern age, everything is fast-paced. If you can't keep up, you'll lose a great deal. More often than not, this society has created a timeline for us and we are all following it, willingly or unwillingly. Because of trying to keep up with the world, we often forget about what really matters. We forget about actually living.
I took this photo one relaxing afternoon, when I visited my friend who just gave birth. We spent the day keeping up with each other's lives and laughing about anything. It was a peaceful and quiet afternoon.
The only sound heard was the crashing of the waves, the laughter of children nearby playing in the seashore, and a cry of a baby seeking a mother's warmth. I realized, this is life. Maybe this is what really feels like to be living.
This was taken in Linamon, Lanao del Norte, Philippines.
beautiful message:)
Steem On!
thank you!
as an ofw and one Filipino who grew up outside Pilipinas, i would say, i truly envy those who are back home. i wonder why so many leave to live outside.
your image reminds me that we as Filipinos are very blessed to have such a beautiful country. each of us who owns a land (if not yet, go buy one, don't spend for unnecessary & temporary things), where we can plant and feed ourselves and those whom we love.
we can go fish for our own food. it is our land. we can pick fruits from trees. and the scenery is breathtaking.
your image shows how we at anytime can taste the blessing of peace.

yes, Philippines is a very beautiful country however people chose to leave because they believe the opportunities in the country are not enough. If the government can provide these opportunities, im sure most people would just love to stay in the country. 😊
So beautiful..
