Dear travellers,
this post was inspired by the daily challenge of @czechglobalhosts to post pictures of Prague or other destinations in the Czech repuplic.
I once visited the Czech capital in winter 1996/97 and I must say that I had one of the best turns of the year ever. The city is very beautiful and has quite an impressive history.
Prague is home to a number of famous cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe. Main attractions include the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, Petřín hill and Vyšehrad. Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
My friends and I had been very much into Lomography during that time, so most of the images, I want to show you, were made with a Lomo LC-A camera.

More to come
I was so inspired by rediscovering those old Lomo-photos, that I even managed to get my old filmscanner working again. Right now I'm scanning the original negatives and will show you some of the results in the next part.
Hi @shortcut. please share me the picture frame and effect it. I love it. thanks.
The picture frame is made with a free app called Fotor Photo Editor. The border is called "oil slick". The images are not altered any further. Just scans from a Lomo camera.
By the way: It would be nice if you upvote my post, when you loved it.
thanks. for information.
Whaat? Lol when i saw the thumbnail i was sure the first picture is a creative painting of the moonlanding 😂
Lol :-))
Wow, I have to say that I feel very honored to have inspired you to write such a great post! Thank you so much! Have a great day and keep on steeming!
My pleasure ;-) Without your daily contest I probably would not have thought about it. Thank you and have a great evening!
The bonus is the best! ;)
Yes, it's strange and funny :-)
I have tried the Lomo filter on some of my images but that is not as good as the images you have posted here.
There is nothing like the look of the original Lomo camera...
