Photo is taken in a fish pond in northern Israel.
Aha Israel is super location for birdwatching, especcially on migration.
Yep, and there's lotsa fish ponds in my area, I always ride there to take photos.

No gees much smaller. It is shorebird.
These are actually smaller than geese. they look big on the photo but they are rather small, a bit bigger than a pigeon with long legs.

Pied Avocet (Recurvirostra avosetta) a shorebird not eagle or another bird of prey.
Actually shorebirds are not easy to recognice, especcially in wither clothes, but this is a very distincive species not to be mistekan.
Not sure what they are actually..
