Visiting the "GAN" or National Art Gallery
Going out in Venezuela has become a taboo for many, be it due to the known insecurity, bad economy and social problems or even because places that you frequent no longer exist, but it has been demonstrated in recent years that just as many choose to complain of the situation and enclaustrarse in their homes, there is another group that has decided to be "happy with what you have" and have been given the task of creating more and more groups of people who want, have fun, know and travel in Venezuela even taking consider all the existing limitations, and of course I am one of those, for sure I do not know how much longer I will be in Venezuela, I do not know if the situation
I ended up making myself run away, if I reached a point where life in this beautiful country is unsustainable ... No one knows where this may come from, but if I tell you something, while I am here I will continue to enjoy all the things it offers, that's why today I talk about one of my many visits to the GAN, (if I've been at least 5 times) is a place that is very quiet and could be considered by many as dead, by the little influx of visitors that it has, it is a place that keeps a lot of artistic history of the country and not only of ours, since there are works of many Colombian artists, Spanish among many others. #LetsFollowTheTour
The Orchestra
Upon entering the first thing we saw was an act of an orchestra that was doing a kind of tribute, we did not delve many to find out what it was but if we stopped a few minutes to enjoy and admire the spectacular mix of melodies and tones that played live the happy hands of all those musicians, was one of the few times I have seen an orchestra up close and really being in the front row was a privilege.
Then we went through a section where there are relief pictures or 3D echos completely with recycled materials, which personally called my attention, first for its originality and second because it is a new section that I had not seen is my previous visits. Demonstrating a little the culture of #recycling and art with what you have at hand
