The little gray bird you see on the trellis makes a lot of noise, I usually hear them before seeing them. Intimidation is their tactic, using their spanned wings to look big and their squawking is quite annoying when around them alot. I think that is where they got the name Mocking bird.
It looks a lot like the female pine warbler, but without the yellow marking on its head. I think it sits up there looking for worms and flying bugs to eat.

I have seen them go after my mason bees, though I cannot be mad as that is nature. Though I hope though building more mason bee homes I can outnumber the birds to the bees being eaten.
I think it saw me, checking out who I am and what im about. Luckily it did not try to swoop on me and attack.
Im sure if I was by their nest they would be, they are very feirece when other birds, animals and people come too close to their nest.
I am not sure if this is a male or female, but cool bird none the less. They sure give crows an annoyance, I see mating pairs chasing off crows all the time. The Crows dont seem to like them, as they will bite them when too close to the Mocking birds nest.

Yeah we have some really beatiful birds in Georgia. I'm amazed how many kinds we have. I bet there are some really cool looking birds in Aceh.
