Favorite Photos from Oregon Trip

In August 2017, my Dad and I traveled to Oregon to see the solar eclipse, and to be in the path of totality. After viewing the eclipse, we stayed for days after to experience what Oregon has to offer. Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip!

Hazy mountain peak view due to raging fires during that time.

Interesting bridge we encountered where you could bungee jump into the ravine.

Early morning fog and fire smoke created a hazy view of Crater Lake, so didn't get a the shot I wanted, but was still an amazing sight. Very interesting lake with rich history.
The lake was created 7,700 years ago from the collapse of the volcano Mount Mazama. With a depth of 1,949 feet, the lake is the deepest in the United States. In the world it ranks ninth for maximum depth and third for mean depth.

To end the trip, we hiked down to the shore to take a dive in the frigid waters. Here is my Dad taking the leap.

Found this little guy hanging out in the rocks by the shore.
