I took these photos near Maqua Lake near the Canadian 'oil sands' near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Although much of the land has been devastated by strip-mining the Earth, there is still much beauty to find nearby. I took these photographs in the summer of 2013 to share with others this isolated beauty in the Northern parts of Alberta.
