A dog is truly a man, woman and child's best friend. They are simply put here in this incarnation to teach us all about friendship all the way down to the pack. Which makes me happy to introduce you all to my alpha dog Oowen which in Thai means Fat. He was born the largest (hence his name) in a litter of 6, in which only 4 remain. Oowen's roughly going on about 11 human years at the time of this dated post, which by Thai standards as a mixed Thai dog (2nd generation stray) is absolutely great!
Oowen is actually extremely aggressive against other dogs his size and people who hates dogs. I don't know how he knows but he knows and I'm sure you all have alpha males just like him if you have a pack. As a matter of fact as I'm typing this he's outside growling at my other dog ThutThu, his doggy brother and fight training partner. The alphas are usually the most aggressive by instinct but Oowen does have a soft spot for people born year of the dog, tiger and horse. Again, I don't know how he knows but he just knows and the only reason we know this is I'm great with patterns.
Knowing all this, you can imagine how great I feel about being able to share with you these images of Oowen's softer side. His poodle side that my wife loves to call it. The side he mostly shows every morning when we wkae up and he's at our bedroom door, whining for his morning petting session. Though he can be a pain some times, he has safe guarded my daughters from the most honorable cobras in battle, risking his own life (his doggy father died in battle protecting my daughters from a king cobra) and his loyalty is unconditional. For those battles, I am forever grateful for my family's safety to our champion alpha dog Oowen.
