You could only see the outline of the milky way where this picture was taken, using a 15sec long exposure with my camera, the stars and the gassy region of the milky way became very clear.

Everyone that sees this picture must mentally escape the current day and go back to a peaceful summer memory. It's kind of like fireflies, but much prettier.
Yea it is a pretty amazing view. Not exactly the same with the naked eye, but you can still see alot of stars without long exposure.
