these where taken in my backyard , i never remove aphids from my plants they are part of nature and e great macro object, sometimes with ants milking them , sometimes with ladybugs or larva eating them .
for this serie i used a sony A6000 camera and Panagor auto macro converter + rokkor 50mm 1.7 lens , manual focus , no tripod i did use flash light with diffuser .
great shots
thank you
That is awesome! I love how the ants "farm" the aphids! Amazing details!
thank you Denise , it's fun to observe them , as soon as an enemy approaches all the ants go to it to chase it away
Amazing!
thank you Bart
Wow nice. up-voted and followed! Love the eye on ants world perspective!
thank you very much, have a nice weekend
These are awesome photos! Great detail you've captured there.
thank you very much
Goddamn aphids.
As a gardener, I heartily endorse the efforts of the ladybird to eliminate the little buggers!
i can understand that there are many biological enemies , how ever sometimes man kind think they are smart and import species from other continent , not always a good plan as we have seen with the asian ladybug

De nada. Éxitos!
Thanks for including your equipment information. Love these close ups!
including equipment info should make it easier for people to separate the fakes from the real ones
awesome macro
thank you
I freaking hate those black ones! They appear on my balcony and seem to be tougher that the green ones.
But yes - great photo object. They looks like velvet pillows :)
i hate the message "You may only comment once every 20 seconds. " takes too long to catch up :( the black ones are the older ones the ants trim the wings so they can't fly away
Are you serious? I didn't notice any ants on my plants, but I do get the black aphids. I thought they are some different type. Harder to get rid off.
(you must write longer comments... at least 20 seconds long :p )
yeah i should try to type comments with my toes :)
get some ladybugs they eat them
Take a photo if you decide to do that :D
Yea I was wondering why the spotty bugs don't wanna visit me. What do jumping spiders eat? I have those :)
Fantastic shots @stresskiller!
thank you
