Google DeepDream Images

Google has been implementing artificially intelligent picture editing for the past couple of years. They started the DeepDream project by teaching artificially intelligent neural networks to recognize specific types of objects in images. For example, they would feed the neural network thousands of images and tell it to look for a dog; every time the neural network correctly identified an image with a dog it was given positive feedback. Through this training the programs were able to recognize trees, houses, animal, and various other objects in the images it was fed. Once the AI was able to identify the object correctly almost 100% of the time they started feeding the AI images without the objects that it was trained to recognize. The AI program, because it was intensely trained to see the objects in images, began altering images so that every new image contained the object it was trained to look for. Google DeepDream is a great way to randomly edit pictures making them look animated, or just really abstract. Here is a image I edited using the Google DeepStyle editor of space-time phenomena visualized around earth and the sun.
