I hadn't come across these flowers before a a few weeks go, but have fallen in LOVE!!
I love how this one makes it look like they just keep going on forever!
I had a picture included in a previous post where @zenseer let me know they were called "Lamb's Ear.' They also mentioned how it used to be used medicinally for antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties and is absorbent. This made them ever more interesting for me to stare at!
This little guy said "I'm ready for his closeup Mr. DeVille."
I just had to catch the bee on here!
Some of these are just HUGE!!
And of course....your obligatory Kitty pic!

Hey @sykochica, great pictures. I've recently fallen in love with lambs ear as well. We just moved into our new home and it has several beautiful garden beds with lambs ear in several of them. I personally like just the foliage itself, the blossoms are pretty but I'm more of a groundcover guy :)
Thank you!
Oh, nice!! I'm jealous..I'd love to have these at home. All these shots are from my work (which is a bonus about where I'm workin, lol.)
Grats on the new house!! :D
Thank you so much! I bet you could grow these in a container / pot pretty well ... maybe give that a try :)
Oh nice! TY! I'll give that a shot :)
I just went outside and snapped a few pictures of some Daylilies blooming in our backyard, thought you might be interested - cheers! :)
Oh nice!! Thank you! I'm going to take a look :)
Also, here is a picture of some of our Lambs Ear :)
so much lambs ear! Lambs ear tip: When the fuzzy purple stalks get too leggy and start to brown, just cut to the base. you'll prob get another flush of stalks!
Hehe..they're just all around the building..I love it!!
Oh nice!! That's really cool they bounce right back. It'd seem rather un-intuitive (I totally trust you though.)
I might also see if they'll let me take one home. Lol
Great tip @gardenlady!
Love your photos, well done
Thank you!
I love taking time to just stare at the pretty flowers! Amazing the subtly life changes Steemit can cause. Lol
The beauty that you have stored in a page....
Awww, thank you!! :D

My daughter wants these planted in our yard because they are so soft and fuzzy. She got a good look at them when we were out driving the other day, but I didn't have a chance to really look at them. Nice!
Oh nice!! They are amazing to look at! I hadn't seen them before, luckily they have a ton of them at my new job. :)
The don't look like they'd be hard to grow..but I sooooooo don't have a green thumb. lol
They are not hard to grow at all. They are related to mints, so they spread a lot and don't need much attention. I hope you get them started at your place. The folks at your work shouldn't mind giving up a few of them, they are so prolific. Happy growing!
That's freaking awesome! I'm totally going to have to give these a try!
How much you wanna bet I find out that my boyfriend is allergic! :P jkjk
haha -- here's to finding out your boyfriend really likes the lamb's ears! ; )
Love the series.
Thank you!! :D
Ha that's funny flowers!
I'm taking flower pictures too - check it out!
